On Friday, May 22, the entire student body participated in the annual HHNE ‘Color Wars’ competition. This year’s theme, “Forces of Nature” found the students divided into 3 teams, “Earth,” “Fire” and “Water.” Each team competed throughout the day in academic challenges, team competitions and athletic events. Favorites amongst the games were a ‘Chopped’-style culinary competition, team relay race, ‘Knockout’ on the outdoor basketball court and a dodge ball tournament. At the end of the day each team presented a skit and displayed the banner they created to represent their element. Congratulations to Team Earth for taking 1st place—great job!

Due to its success, Meira has expressed interest in conducting a larger-scale drive next year.
