For students who wish to take advantage of the academic excellence and warm community environment at Hebrew High School of New England, but who live too far to commute daily, our boarding program provides the necessary resources to make attendance at Hebrew High School of New England a reality. The boarding program allows and encourages the opportunity for students to develop their independent living skills while benefiting from the HHNE experience.
When a potential boarding student applies to Hebrew High School of New England, the school works closely with the student and parents to match them with a host family. This family provides a comfortable, warm, and nurturing environment where the student becomes part of the family and the community.
We understand the decision to send your child to high school away from home is a challenging one, and can be quite daunting. However, throughout this process—from the initial decision to determine whether HHNE is the right match for your child, to the application process itself, to finding the right boarding home, to meeting other students on the first day of school—our staff is there to guide you through each and every step. The boarding coordinator and administrative staff at HHNE are available to the student and host family throughout the year.
